It is intended that bookings will cover the running costs of the family cottage. ie insurance, rates, power, gas and maintenance etc. At this stage we are unsure of the actual cost of some utilities so a cost recovery of $10 per person will be added on top of the $50 per night charge. (which is half the current charges in Akaroa). note - $60 for 1 night only
ie    1 person = $70 for one night  - for 1 night only a charge of $60 plus $10 pp will be charged, longer stays reverts back to $50 per night
      2 people = $80 for one night - $70 per night for 2 or more nights
      3 people = $90 for one night  - $80 per night for 2 or more nights
      4 people = $100 for one night - so if 4 people stay for 3 nights it will cost them $270, that's $67.50 each, only $22.50 each per night
      5 people = $110  etc etc

All bookings made will automatically be confirmed and fixed. (if available). Understandably John Fernyhoughs direct family have priority but will always endeavour to work around the greater family requests and only in extreme circumstances are likely to pull rank over existing bookings.

Only relatives who have direct lineage to John Pavitt may book the cottage and only close friends may stay without such an accompanied relative. (at $85 per night plus $10pp per night)

We are reluctant to have young children staying due the fact that all wallpaper and curtains have been imported from England and USA and they will get damaged with grubby fingers etc. You must take full responsibility for them and pay for any damage.

Please take your Cell Phone if you wish to be in contact with the rest of the world, due to continuous problems we disconnected the phone. 

Trustees
